Bulldogs Win on Senior Night

The Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs blowout Clinton County, KY 47-8 on senior night.


The win takes the RBS record to 5 and 3 for the season.

Clinton would receive the ball first to begin the game. After a punt the bulldogs would score on their first drive with a 16 yard touchdown run by Michael Tirjan. Conversion was good and the score is 8-0 with 9:01 left in the 1st. Clinton would go 3 and out on their second possession. On the punt return, bulldog Michael Tirjan took it back 60 yards to make the score 16-0 with 6:38 left in the first. Following another defensive stand, RBS would score again on the drive to make it 22-0 with a 5 yard carry by Justin Bergdorf with 3:48 left to go. The quarter ended following a big sack by Mason Hewitt. Justin Bergdorf would score on a 5 yard run to put the score at 28-0 with 11:00 left in the first half. Clinton would have to punt and RBS would take over at their 21 yard line.  The Dogs would score again on a 4 yard run by Justin Bergdorf to put the score at 35-0 at the end of the half. .

To start the 3rd quarter, Michael Tirjan would take it 15 yards for a Bulldog touchdown to put the score at 41-0.  On the next possession, Michael Tirjan intercepted Clinton County to give RBS the ball on the 47 yd line to end the 3rd quarter.  The 4th quarter would start off with a RBS touchdown by Rodney Pruitte on a 2 yard gain. This made the score 47-0 with 5:12 left to go. Clinton would score a late touchdown but the final score was RBS 47 Clinton County 8.

This is the final home football game for the seniors of the Class of 2015. We are saying goodbye to Quinton Goad, Kaitlyn Mea, Dallas Greanead, Katelyn Murphy, Tyler Thompson, Autumn Crowder, and Destin Wright. Everybody thanks them for their contributions and wishes them the best for the future.

Next week the Dogs will be on a bye. The Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs will travel to Byrdstown to face Pickett County on Friday October 24th. Come out and support your Bulldogs!
