Macon County Woman Indicted in Smith County
On Friday afternoon, December 5, Misty Dawn Moore was taken into custody by the Lafayette Police Department and carried to the Macon County Justice Center in Lafayette. Ms. Moore was later transported to the Smith/Macon County line, where Jimmy Gregory of the Smith County Sheriff’s Office was waiting to take her to Carthage. Misty Dawn Moore was charged with one count of selling a Schedule III drug, dihydrocodeinone, which is a prescription drug prescribed for pain. A Smith County Criminal Court date is set for Friday, December 12, 2014.
