Lafayette Sunshine Market Opens this Thursday

The original Sunshine Market building was torn down in July.

Gregory knows that success depends on reaching the right people, so Lafayette Sunshine Market has a little bit of everything for the customers. Why should consumers patronize Lafayette Sunshine Market? That’s easy, convenience! The market is at a convenient location, has a drive thru window, gasoline (24 hours, seven days a week), diesel, trailer friendly pumps, propane gas tanks, food, drinks, lottery tickets, pumps for air or vaccum, beer cave, you name it.

“My goal is to be the place that customers immediately think of,” said Gregory. “After being in business for several years in Lafayette, I realize that today’s patrons are going directly to the business that has what they are looking for, so if you want to buy gas, grab a slice of pizza and a beverage, drink a cup of coffee, sit down to bite into a delicious sandwich or pick up the Macon County Chronicle and read it, you’ll find all that and more at the Lafayette Sunshine Market.”

Joyce said the market has breakfast items, hot dogs, pizza, all kinds of sandwiches, fountain drinks, regular drinks, slushes, coffee, snacks and tables where you can sit down and eat. “We have gasoline, diesel, off road diesel, six pumps, lottery tickets, scratch offs, a few grocery items such as milk & bread, and a beer cave where you can walk in and get your own beer.”

Lafayette Sunshine Market hours are: Monday thru Thursday, 5:00 a.m. till 10:00 p.m.; Friday, 5:00 a.m till midnight; Saturday, 6:00 a.m. till midnight; Sunday 9 a.m. till 9 p.m.

The market will open at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 1, 2015 due to the holiday.

There will be a grand opening at a later date and prizes will be given away.

“There is only one formula for a successful business,” added Gregory, “and that is top notch service.”

Don’t just listen to second hand knowledge, stop by the Lafayette Sunshine Market and check it out yourself when the business opens on January 1.

“If you build it, they will come!!!”
