Randy Carnahan Selected to Clay County Sports HOF

Randy Carnahan, an alumnus of Clay County High School, was inducted into the Clay County Sports Hall of Fame during the annual ceremony on January 17, 2015. 


Randy was recognized for his accomplishments in basketball and baseball throughout his years at Hermitage Springs School.  He even started on the high school baseball team as an 8th grader.  His five-year, varsity play for Hermitage Springs lasted from 1983 thru 1988.  He was later recognized as All-District in both basketball and baseball, along with receiving numerous team awards.  He scored 55 three-point goals during his 1988 season (22 games) to be ranked among the best in the state.
