Macon Bank & Trust to Host ‘Banking for a Cure Car & Bike Show’ Aug. 29

The bank’s main branch, located at 609 Red Boiling Springs Rd. in Lafayette, will host the event with proceeds to benefit Relay for Life and Sherry’s Run. 

The car and bike show will include hot rod cars, trucks and motorcycles. 

Vehicle registration will be held from noon until 1 p.m. and wards will be held at 3:30 p.m.

Food, music and kid activities will also be on site. 

According to Macon Bank & Trust Assistant Vice President Johnathan West, last year’s show included over 100 entries.

“We look forward to another great event this year! There were approximately 100 Car/Bike entries last year and many activities for the children,” he remarked. “A good time was had by all and several dollars were raised for Sherry’s Run and Relay for Life.”
