Tigerette Soccer Beats Watertown

The MCHS Tigerette Soccer team held their season opener against district opponent Watertown.


The Tigerettes came away with a 6-3 victory.

Lora Darnell scored the first goal at the 7:00 mark and Heaven Love added the second with 18:42 gone in the first half. After Watertown scored, Bailey Porter scored with 5:45 left. Love tacked on another score and Macon led 4-1 at the half. Lyndsey Belton scored with 14:23 left before Watertown tacked on another goal to make the score 5-2. Love finished her hat trick with a third goal with 5:18 left and Watertown added a late goal as well.

The Tigerettes will be in action again at home on August 27th against Jackson County. Game time is scheduled for 6 pm.
