Three Vehicle Wreck in RBS
The 12:45 p.m. wreck occurred at the intersection of Highway 52 & Highway 56, inside the RBS city limits.
According to Chief Tuck, 50-year-old Tracy Zastersek, of Illinois, was driving west on Hwy. 52 in a 2007 Toyota and was approaching the intersection of the Carthage Road and Lafayette Road. 60-year-old Wanda Clark, of RBS, was traveling northbound in a 2001 Chevrolet S10 coming off the Carthage Road and she pulled into the path of Zastersek. “When Zastersek struck Clark it knocked her vehicle into a 2012 Honda that was sitting at the stop sign, with 48-year-old Candace Leonard, of Pleasant Shade, behind the wheel,” Chief Tuck told the Macon County Chronicle.
Wanda Clark was carried to UMC in Lebanon for medical treatment and Tracy Zastersek was carried to MCGH in Lafayette.
Clark was cited for failure to yield.
