Meth & Guns Seized in Searches

Upon executing these warrants, numerous stolen items were recovered along with drug paraphernalia, narcotics, a green, leafy substance believed to be marijuana and a crystalized substance believed to be methamphetamine.

At one location, approximately 55 grams of finished meth product was recovered. The large quantity suggests that it was to be used for the purpose of re-sale.

Other items seized from these residences included approximately 25 long guns (shotguns, rifles), 10 handguns, various ammunition, stolen chainsaws and other miscellaneous items.

At this time, multiple arrests have been made in connection to these cases and further arrests are expected.

The seized narcotics were sent to the TBI lab to be weighed and classified.

Sheriff Gammons would like to thank all of the detectives and deputies involved in the execution of these warrants. He would also like to thank the Lafayette Police Department, the Tennessee Highway Patrol and the Jackson County K-9 unit for their hard work and assistance.
