Thirteen Shake & Bake Meth Labs on Man’s Property

When authorities arrived at the western Macon County residence, they discovered coffee filters, smoking pipes, bongs, syringes, lithium batteries and mixing jars inside the home.

But it was an outside search of the property that led to them to find 13 bottles of one-pot, shake & bake, meth labs in various locations – in a burn pile, behind the house, stored in trashcans and laying in the woods.

Gregory arrived home while investigators were still at the residence and was taken into custody.

Four dogs located on Gregory’s property were seized by Macon County Animal Control officers, and it was later discovered that one of them, a pitbull, had been reported stolen by its owner.

A clean up of the property was later conducted by the Tennessee Meth Task Force.

Gregory was charged with 13 counts of intent to manufacture methamphetamine and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $150,000, and he is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on April 13, 2016.

Sheriff Gammons would like to thank all of the officers involved and the Tennessee Highway Patrol for their assistance.

He would also like to remind Macon County residents to contact his office if they have any crime-related information.
