DeKalb Ends Tiger Season

The Macon County Tiger baseball season ended in a close contest with DeKalb County.

The Tigers faced DeKalb coming out of the loser’s bracket in their side of the district 8AA tournament. In a very tight game in which a lot of calls and breaks did not go Macon’s way, they fell by a final score of 2-3 which ended on a game ending play at the plate.

Senior Clay Carnahan and Junior Michael Ashburn were named to the All-District team at the conclusion of the tournament.
