MCHS Volleyball Underway

The Macon Co High School Volleyball team started their season out with a win against Pope John Paul on Tuesday the 16th.

Macon Co lost the first set 21-25, then came back and won the next two sets with scores of 25-23 and 25-18. Ragen Gregory led with 3 serve aces as well as 17 assists. Sarah Carter led the team in kills with a total of 6 as well as 18 digs. Brooklyn Brawner led the team with 3 blocks. Macon Co also played Portland after playing Pope John Paul. The Tigerettes fell short to Portland with scores of 18-25, 25-23, and 16-25. Sarah Carter led the team in kills with 8 as well as digs with 16. Ragen Gregory led the team with 40 assists. The Volleyball team next will face Cannon Co away on the 23rd at 5:00.
