RBS Church of Christ Offering Free Meal on Thanksgiving Day

“Everybody is invited,” said church member Chuck Jordan. “Most of us enjoy a good, homemade meal on Thanksgiving but there are people who don’t have that luxury. We want to reach out to the people who don’t have the means to enjoy a homemade Thanksgiving meal and anyone who might be lonely on this holiday. It’s not a matter of rich or poor, it’s our church’s way of giving back to the community and showing God’s grace.”

This is the third time the church has hosted a free Thanksgiving meal, prepared entirely by members of the congregation. 

The menu includes turkey and dressing, potatoes, green beans, corn, rolls, dessert and drinks. 

“We look forward to sharing God’s blessing with everyone,” Chuck added.

Those who aren’t able to get to the church, can call 615-699-2840 after 8 a.m. on Thanksgiving day, and their meal(s) will be delivered.
