Lady Bulldog Softball Wins at Trousdale County

Whenever the Yellow Jackets and the Lady Bulldogs get together for an old fashioned softball game you can throw all the records out the window.

On this occasion the Lady Bulldogs put a complete game together and walked away with an 18-4 victory.

The Red Boiling Springs Lady Bulldogs softball team boarded the big yellow bus last Tuesday night and traveled to Trousdale County and they had their hitting bats working. Every Lady Bulldog in the starting lineup had a walk or hit as the Lady Bulldogs claimed their largest win in almost three years.

The Lady Bulldog lineup featured the following: Harlee Birdwell had 2 RBIs, Taylor Cothron 1 RBI, Allison Deckard 4 RBIs, Traley Dillard had 2 hits and 4 RBIs, Kennedy Fleming had 2 hits and 2 RBIs, Traci Dillard had 2 hits and 2 RBIs, Makenli Sadlet had 1 hit and a RBI. In the pitching department  it was a terrific night for Bailey Tucker who struck out 9 Lady Jackets and allowed only 1 earned run. Abby Tuck also had 2 hits and a RBI and that is a good night for the senior. Lady Bulldog coach has 9 good starters plus for the first time in her stint as the head coach she has a dependable bench. These kids want to win and they will do anything to get a victory.

The rain has played havoc with the schedule but these kids really want to play. Goodpasture is coming up later in the month on the schedule and that game will be the measuring stick for these Lady Bulldogs. The Clarkrange Lady Buffaloes are coming up this week and that will also be a big test for these Red Boiling Springs Lady Bulldogs. It’s springtime so get out and support these Lady Bulldogs.
