Macon Woman Arrested at Trousdale Prison

A Macon County woman was recently arrested for concealing drugs internally and successfully transporting all items into the CCA Trousdale Turner Correctional Center in Hartsville, Tennessee, during visitation at the prison.

The Affidavit of Complaint:

On March 29, 2017, Teresa Marshall did violate TCA 39-17-417 by intentionally and knowingly introduce and have in her possession, approximately 73.8 grams of marijuana. Teresa Marshall did conceal said items within her vaginal cavity in an effort to avoid detection. Teresa Marshall was successful in transporting all items into the CCA Trousdale Turner Correctional Center in Hartsville, Tennessee. Teresa Marshall did admit to the above violation. This offense did occur in Trousdale County, Tennessee.

Teresa D. Marshall, 49, of 972 E. Hwy. 52 By Pass in Lafayette was charged with manufacture/deliver/sell of a controlled substance and introduce/possess contraband in a penal institute on April 5. Bond was set at $10,000. Trousdale County General Sessions Court is set for April 28.
