The Donoho Hotel Turns 103: Come Celebrate With Us!

The historic Donoho Hotel, in beautiful Red Boiling Springs, turns 103-years-old on Saturday, April 29, 2017.
In honor of this wonderful mile stone, the Donoho will be celebrating and folks are invited to come and spend the day, while enjoying some wonderful music in The Donoho Entertainment Center throughout the day and into the night.
The first 103 people to call the Donoho at 615-699-3141, and place their name on the list wanting to attend any and all concerts, will be admitted free.
The entertainment roster includes Winfred Reed and The Hardy Mountain Bluegrass Band from Kentucky, who will perform from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.; Terri Lynn Weaver who will perform from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.; and Coney Carver and The Rainbow Valley Boys Bluegrass Band from Ohio will perform from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Also from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. there will be free Karaoke hosted by Gary Vinson.
With the ringing of the dinner bell breakfast will be served family style at 8 a.m. prior to the 9:30 a.m. concert. Will serve 103 people for $3 per person. The menu consists of bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, white & chocolate gravy, biscuits, honey, coffee, orange juice and milk. Reservations needed to ensure your seating. With the ringing of the dinner bell lunch will be served family style at noon prior to the 1:30 p.m. concert. Will serve 103 people for $3 per person. Menu: catfish, hush puppies, white beans, cole slaw, french fries, apple cobbler, vanilla bean ice cream, and beverages. Reservations needed to ensure your seating. With the ringing of the dinner bell supper will be served family style at 6 p.m. prior to the 7:30 p.m. concert. Will serve 103 people for $3 per person. Menu: fried chicken, country ham, green beans, corn, baked potato cassesrole, honey, biscuits, peach cobbler, banana pudding, vanilla bean ice cream, and beverages. Reservations needed to ensure seating.
Come to Red Boiling Springs and enjoy the rich history at the Donoho Hotel, which is one of three remaining hotels from the early 20th century resort boom. The Donoho attracted such hotel guests as President Woodard Wilson.
