Bush Hog Fatality Victim Identified

The victim of a May 22, 2017 fatality involving a bush hog has been identified. 

Alejandro Augustine, age 45, was killed in the accident, which occurred at 1928 Akersville Road in Lafayette. 

Augustine was a tobacco field worker in Macon County at the time of his death. 

According to authorities, autopsy results are still pending and the investigation is ongoing.
