Hot Rod Power Tour Rolls Through Lafayette
The 24th Annual Hot Rod Power Tour rolled through Lafayette on Sunday, June 10th, with a reported 6,000 vehicles traveling city to city with Chattanooga, Tennessee, one of the designated stops.
The event kicked off in Bowling Green, Ky., and the other Power Tour stops are Hoover, Ala., Hampton, Ga., Darlington, S.C., Raleigh, N.C., and Concord N.C. Folks were parked from one end of town to the other just to see these vehicles traveling thru our area. The vehicles traveled around the square from the Scottsville Road, continued on out the Red Boiling Springs Road, turned left on Highway 52 at La Tia’s, turned right on Browns Road, then turned left on Union Camp Road, while heading to Chattanooga through rural Tennessee.
