Macon Bank Presents ‘Macon County’s Day of Hope’

By: Jessie Williams

Macon Bank & Trust proudly presents the 6th annual ‘Macon County’s Day of Hope’  – a cancer benefit to be held on Saturday, September 29, at the Macon Bank & Trust main branch location.

Beginning at 9 a.m., the event includes a variety of family-friendly events including an antique car, tractor, motorcycle, and truck show, activities for kids, craft booths, and food provided by Goad’s Chuck Wagon.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Sherry’s Run and our neighbors fighting cancer.

Sherry’s Run is a local organization that provides families battling cancer with financial assistance. Often when a family member is diagnosed with cancer there comes a point when they cannot work and the medical bills continue pile up. That’s when Sherry’s Run steps in.

“Macon Bank is proud to be a supporter of this event and of Sherry’s Run,” said Debbie Mason, of Macon Bank & Trust. “We hope the community will get behind this event and help us make a difference in the lives of those battling cancer and their families.”
