Lafayette Man Arrested for Exposing Himself to Gas Station Cashier

By Jessie Williams

A 21-year-old Lafayette man was arrested last weekend for exposing himself to a cashier at a local gas station.

According to the affidavit of complaint filed by Sergeant Matt Looper of the Lafayette Police Department, Johnny W. McAllister exposed his genitals to a female cashier at the Marathon gas station on Highway 52 on September 30, 2018, and again on October 3, 2018.

Both incidents were caught on security camera.

On Sunday, October 28, Mr. McAllister was stopped while traveling down Highway 52 and identified as the man in the videos.

The affidavit states that Mr. McAllister admitted to going inside the Marathon station on those dates, but it was an accident that his genitals were hanging out of his pants.

McAllister was charged with two counts of indecent exposure. His bond was set at $2,000, and he is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on November 14.
