Meth & Marijuana Found in Vehicle

Two men and one woman were arrested last week following a traffic stop on Ferguson Hill Road. 

 

According to the police report, a white, Buick car with expired tags was pulled over on Monday afternoon, June 3.

The driver, 21-year-old Ashley Woodard, was found to have a suspended license. 

Consent to search the vehicle was given, and officers discovered 7.8 grams of meth under the driver’s seat, and marijuana in Woodard’s purse. 

One of the passenger’s, 20-year-old Thomas Reid, also had marijuana in his pocket. 

Woodard, Reid, and the other passenger in the vehicle, 36-year-old Dra Watkins, were all arrested and booked into the Macon County Jail. 

Miss Woodard was charged with  possession of a schedule II, driving on a suspended license, violation of registration law, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving in possession of meth. Her bond was set at $35,000.

Mr. Watkins was charged with violation of probation, possession of a schedule II drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and manufacture of narcotics. His bond was also set at $35,000. 

Mr. Reid was charged with possession of a schedule VI and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $3,500. 

All three individuals are scheduled to appear in Macon County General Sessions Court on June 12, 2019.
