Tigerettes Grab First Two District Wins

The Macon County Tigerette Soccer team grabbed their first two district wins of the season this past week.

They outkicked Greenbrier and Springfield.

On Tuesday Sep 3rd Macon travelled to take on the Lady Bobcats of Greenbrier. The Tigerette pressure was too much as they won in a shut-out by a score of 6-0. A hat trick (three goals) by Keeley Carter, with goals by Morgan Carter, Jamie Ashburn, and Josie McCall, led the way for the Tigerettes.

Macon came back home to face the Springfield Lady Yellow Jackets. It didn’t take long for Macon to score and then the goals came with regularity. Carter had another three goal performance along with two goals from Chloe Carver. Jamie Ashburn and Macie Dillard had goals as well as the Tigerettes rolled over Springfield 7-1.

Following these two district wins the Tigerettes will travel to White House Heritage on Sep 10th for their only scheduled game of the week.
