Tigers Get First Win of Season
The Macon County Tigers got their first win of the 2019 season this past Friday night.
They defeated Mount Juliet Christian by a score of 55-7.

Macon would march down and score on an Ethan Jenkins 37 yard run and Ryan Underwood PAT to lead 7-0. Belton would score on a four yard run just three minutes later. Underwood made the PAT and Macon led 14-0 with 2:39 left in the first period.
The Tiger defense, which has played well in all three games this season, would get a forty yard pick-six by Jenkins to score again. Underwood converts and Macon leads 21-0 with 2:23 left in the opening period. The Tigers got the ball back once again and Cameron Houston scored on a four yard run. A busy Underwood made his fourth PAT of the period and Macon led 28-0 after the first fifteen minutes. Whew!

Then with 3:52 left in the half Gammons would hit Houston with a five yard pass for another score. Underwood makes his sixth PAT of the half and Macon led 42-0 at the break.
