An alleged drunken fight between women at a park in Red Boiling Springs, led to two arrests last week.

As stated on the report filed by RBS Assistant Chief of Police Jason Bohanan, he was dispatched to Bilbrey Park to investigate reports of two individuals cussing and fighting in the area, on September 12.

Upon the officer’s arrival, Bohanan witnessed one female subject laying on the ground and another yelling and cussing at her.

After making contact with the women, he stated that a strong odor of alcohol was coming from them, and he noticed two empty pints of vodka laying on the table and another pint of vodka that was half-full. One female was also drinking a beer.

The women were identified as 45-year-old April Putty of Lafayette, and 36-year-old Candice O’Niel of Watertown.

The officer’s report notes that there were two mothers and four children playing at the park at the time of the incident.
