Stolen Truck & Trailer: Two Arrested

By Jessie Williams

Two men were arrested last week for allegedly stealing a Ford F150 truck and trailer from a residence on Driver Road earlier this month.

According to the report filed by Deputy Timothy Freeman of the Macon County Sheriff’s Department, he was dispatched to the residence on November 7, 2019 following a stolen vehicle report.

The female victim stated that her gold, Ford F150, extended cab, 4×4 truck and attached 5×10 utility trailer were stolen from her driveway sometime between 6 p.m. on November 6 and 7:30 a.m. on November 7.

The trailer was discovered by the owner down the road from the residence at the intersection of Driver Road and Bottom Road, and she stated a neighbor assisted her in returning it to her property.

On November 8, 2019 officers from the Macon County Sheriff’s Department assisted Sumner County with a pursuit that was heading toward Macon County.

By the time Macon County officers arrived, the subject had crashed into the yard of a residence located at 1370 Siloam Church Road, and two male subjects were in custody.

Upon investigation, it was discovered that the two men had crashed in the F150 that was stolen from Driver Road the night before.

The driver of the stolen vehicle, Takota Stone, age 22, was charged with theft over $10,000. His bond was set at $20,000

Juan Pinegar, age 22, was charged with violation of probation (2 counts) and failure to appear (3 counts). His bond was set at $500.
