$1,000 in Cash Giveaways at Christmas on the Square

Don’t miss your chance to win some cold, hard cash this Friday, December 6, 2019, during Christmas on the Square!
Bring the family out to the Lafayette Public Square from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for a variety of activities including train rides for both kids and adults, refreshments, storytelling, visits with Santa, ATV rides for kids, holiday art projects, bouncy houses, children’s art projects and more!
Randy East and Cherry Cole have been named this year’s Christmas on the Square emcees.
As in years past, guests of Christmas on the Square are eligible to enter to win several cash giveaways totaling $1,000, sponsored by participating merchants on the square. Winners must be present to win. You may register for the drawings at any of the participating businesses.
Participating merchants include Gibson’s Cafe, Macon Bank & Trust, the Macon County Chronicle, Cathy’s Flowers & Gifts, Inspirations, Johnson’s Jewelers, Hometown Glory Tattoo, Linda’s Cakes & Catering, Macon Department Store, McClard’s Gifts, Citizens Bank, Emme Lou’s Boutique, the Macon County Courthouse, 615 Boutique, Gallery 102, B&R Bargain Store and Rhythm Arts & Entertainment.
ATV rides will be sponsored by the Lafayette Fire & Rescue and Macon Power Sports and train rides will be provided by the Lafayette Police Dept.
Storytelling will be held at Macon Department Store and holiday art projects for kids, sponsored by the Macon County Arts Council, will be held inside the Macon County Courthouse.
The Lafayette Fire Department will have a firetruck on display, and bouncy houses will be set up on the square.
Photos with Santa and other Christmas characters are free.
Haven’t finished your Christmas shopping yet? Participating merchants on the square will also be offering guests holiday specials throughout the day.
Please remember that for everyone’s safety, there will be no parking on the square during this event.
