Four Escaped Jail Inmates Captured

Four Macon County inmates, that escaped last week, are back in jail and will be taken before a grand jury to face additional charges.
According to Macon County Sheriff Mark Gammons, he was notified about the incident around 6:15 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13.
“At the time deputies and employees began searching possible areas that these individuals may have been headed to,” said the sheriff.
By 8 a.m. the same day all four male subjects were captured. Three of them were discovered walking on Siloam Church Rd. and the fourth was found on Kay Circle.
The four escapees have been identified as 20-year-old Stephen Sullivan, 25-year-old Lucas Tracy, 24-year-old Jeremy Fuller and 26-year-old Levi Polson.
Sheriff Gammons stated that disciplinary action has been taken, regarding jail employees working during the escape, and other security measures have been implemented.
These inmates will be taken before the grand jury to face additional charges.
The incident is still under investigation.
