By Jessie Williams

Two Macon County residents were arrested Thursday, August 6, following an 18-month investigation involving the sale of illegal narcotics.

According to Macon County Detective Jacob McClard, the investigation gave police enough evidence to obtain a search warrant at the residence of Anna Holland, age 34, and Zackery Bradley, age 24.

The warrant was executed at 3813 Scottsville Rd. on August 6, 2020.

The warrant produced approximately 1.85 ounces of a crystallized substance, believed to be methamphetamine, in Anna and Zack’s bedroom.

Also found in the home were unprescribed pills, drug paraphernalia including digital scales, glass smoking pipes and baggies, and three firearms.

Both subjects were arrested.

After returning to the sheriff’s department, the crystalized substance was field tested and tested positive for methamphetamine and fentanyl.

Anna and Zack were charged with possession of meth, manufacture of narcotics, possession of a Schedule I drug, possession of a schedule IV drug and possession of a firearm during a violent felony.

They are each being held on $50,000 bond and are scheduled to appear in general sessions court on September 2, 2020.
