Lafayette Man Indicted on Meth Charges

A 50-year-old Lafayette man has been charged with conspiring with Travis Warner, Cody Jones, Wendell Jones and others to sell methamphetamine.

 

According to the indictment, Macon County Grand Jury members agreed there was enough evidence to charge C.R. Harp with one count of conspiracy to sell methamphetamine over 300 grams, one count of possession of 300 grams of methamphetamine with intent and one count of possession of a firearm during commission of a felony. 

The indictment states that Harp was in possession of over 9 lbs. of methamphetamine on March 26, 2020, and that he was also in possession of two block pistols while in possession of a Schedule II controlled substance with the intent to sell or deliver it. 

Mr. Harp’s bond was set at $75,000, and he is scheduled to appear in criminal court on October 5, 2020.
