Early Voting For Nov. 3 Election Begins Thursday

Early voting for the November 3, 2020 election will begin this Wednesday, October 14, and will run through Thursday, October 29. 

 

Voters participating in this election will make their selections for President & Vice President of the United States, United States Senate, United States House of Representatives District 6 and Tennessee House of Representatives District 38.

Early voting will take place at the Meador Building on the Macon County Fairgrounds. There will be no voting at the Macon County Election Commission.

Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.,  Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m, and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon.

Face masks are recommended, and please bring your own ink pens. 

No Campaign materials will be allowed within 100 feet of the polling place. This includes shirts and hats with candidates names. 

A valid state ID is required to vote. 

The deadline to request an absentee ballot is October 27, 2020 and are due (by mail) by the close of polls on Election Day. 

On Election Day, November 3, polls be open from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.
