U.S. Army 1st Armored Division Band Coming to Lafayette

The Macon County Arts Council is proud to announce that the U.S. Army 1st Armored Division Band from Fort Bliss, Texas, will be performing at Lafayette’s Key Park on Thursday, July 8, 2021. The free community concert, “Performance With Pride” will begin at 5:00 p.m.

The 1st Armored Division Band has been in existence since 1943. Dubbed “Old Ironsides” the band has been performing for and protecting our nation ever since.

Please bring a lawn chair and enjoy an evening of music celebrating America. In the event of bad weather, Macon County Junior High School Auditorium will be used.

This event is free and open to the public.
