Candidates Qualify for Upcoming Elections

The following candidates have officially qualified for the May 3 Republican Primary & City of Lafayette Election and the August 4 County General Election.

The withdrawal deadline for both elections is Thursday, February 24, 2022, at noon.

Republican candidates will appear on the May ballot and Independent candidates will not appear on the ballot until August 4. (There are two county commissioners per district. In the Republican Primary the voters will vote for two. The top two candidates in the Republican Primary will move on to the August County General Election.)
