Red Boiling Springs High School Principal and Athletic Director Don Jones called a news conference last Thursday afternoon to announce the hiring of Terra Pryor Allen as the new head coach of girls basketball. Coach White supported Allen for the position at Red Boiling Springs. Coach Allen graduated from Cumberland University in 2017 and served as a graduate assistant in 2017-18-19 at Cumberland University.

She started her coaching career in Macon County coaching 5th and 6th grade basketball at MCJH for 3 years and served as assistant coach under Larry White before accepting the job at Red Boiling Springs.

Coach Allen issued the following statement on why she wanted the job at Red Boiling Springs: “I think about the rich history at Red Boiling Springs in girls basketball and the great coaches that have been a part of that tradition. I only hope that I can continue to play a part of that history. No one will out-work me. I am very thankful.”
