Dorothy Swindle

Dorothy Brown Swindle, age 83 of Lafayette, TN passed away Friday evening, February 17, 2023 at Knollwood Manor in Lafayette, TN. Funeral Services for Dorothy Brown Swindle were conducted Monday afternoon, February 20, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Jackie Stagner & Elder Anthony Hale officiating. Interment followed in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park. Jeff Brown, Justin Carr, Raymond Carr, Louie Wood, Tyger Wood, & Stanley Miller served as pallbearers.

Dorothy Brown Swindle was born April 1, 1939 in Macon County, TN, the daughter born to the late Willie & Thelma Chandler Brown. She married the love of her life, Charles Edward Swindle on August 24, 1963, who preceded her in death on January 17, 2009. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by sister, Myrtle Mai Tuck and brothers, Donald & Donnie Brown. Dorothy worked at the former Texas Boot in Hartsville, TN and American Greetings in Lafayette, TN for many years. She loved to sew and quilt.
