Jerry Driver

Jerry Wayne Driver was born on July 17, 1948, in Lafayette, Tennessee, to Clyde “Pete” Driver and Kathryn Flippin Mahoney. He married Miss Donna Jean Ausburn on January 17, 1969. They shared over fiftyfour years together.

Jerry was preceded in death by his Son, Randy Baker; Mother, Kathryn Flippin Mahoney; and Brother, Terry “Jackhammer” Driver. He was saved by The Sweet Lord’s Grace and was a member of Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church. Jerry was also a member of the Hillsdale Masonic Lodge #664 F&AM. He was a maintenance supervisor at Ford Glass in Nashville and retired in 2007 after fifteen years of dedicated service. In his spare time, Jerry loved to go fishing. He also loved growing a big garden each year and always kept an immaculate yard. Jerry enjoyed golfing and riding motorcycles as well. On Sunday, February 26, 2023, at the age of seventy-four years, seven months, and twelve days, Jerry was called to his Heavenly Reward. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Jerry Wayne Driver is survived by; Wife, Donna Jean Ausburn Driver; Father, Clyde “Pete” Driver; Daughters, Rhonda Graves and Joni Williams and husband, Timmy; Grandchildren, Phillip Baker and wife, Kassandra, Kody Graves and wife, Brianna, Courtney Baker, Zach Williams, Mitchell Baker and wife, Marla, Keri Brown and husband, Kaleb, Matt Harper, Brad Harper, Rebecca Williams, and Avery Williams; Sisters, Carolyn Johnson and husband, Charles, Kathy Hudgins and husband, John, and Rita Corbin and husband, Tommy; and Sister-In-Law, Cindy Driver.

Funeral services for Jerry Wayne Driver were conducted on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Kevin Harrison officiating. Interment followed in The Haysville Cemetery. Pallbearers were Kody Graves, Kaleb Graves, Matt Harper, Brad Harper, Timmy Williams, and Zach Williams. Alexander Funeral Home, Directors, in charge of arrangements.
