Christy Whittemore

Christy Lynn Whittemore was born into this world on May 14, 1985, in Zebulon, Georgia. She departed this life for her Heavenly Home on Monday, April 3, 2023, at the age of thirty-seven years, ten months, and twenty days.

Christy married Roger Lee Whittemore on August 27, 2010. They were blessed with almost thirteen years of marriage. Christy was saved by grace and baptized into Union Hill General Baptist Church. She was employed at Pacesetters here in Lafayette for seven years and was a house manager. Christy loved to care for people. She enjoyed helping anyone she could but especially her family. Christy loved them with all her heart and soul. In her spare time, Christy loved to listen to music. Her bright blue eyes and big smile will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Mrs. Christy Whittemore was preceded in death by her Parents, John McClain Morgan and Rebecca Lynn Morgan; and Father, Edward Chadwick. Christy Lynn Whittemore is survived by; Husband, Roger Lee Whittemore, Sons, Joseph Wood and Blaze Wood; Daughter, Jasmine Wood; Brother, Tim Hardy; Momma, Judy Carter; Special Friends, Misty Smoczynski and Cheri Loftis.

Funeral services for Mrs. Christy Lynn Whittemore were conducted on Thursday, April 6, 2023, from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Brother Donnie Likens and Brother Pete Likens officiating. Interment followed in The Cold Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers were; Chris Roddy, Kota McGuire, Tyler Hill, Warren Mabry, Aaron Morgan, and Robert Smoczynski.
