Maria Duffer

Maria Fay Duffer was born on December 29, 1960, in Lafayette, Tennessee, to the late George Ray Duffer and Helen Frances Ellis Duffer. She was one of three children born to this union. Along with her parents, Maria was also preceded in death by her Brother-in-law, Terry “JackHammer” Driver.

Maria was a 1978 graduate of Macon County High School. She was self-employed and owned Maria’s Income Tax and Bookkeeping. In her spare time, Maria enjoyed going to church and sharing her testimony with everyone. She loved the Lord. Maria also loved to sing and had an angelic voice. Her beautiful smile will be dearly missed by all.

On Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the age of sixty-two years, three month and fourteen days, Maria Fay Duffer was called to her Heavenly Home. Her soul is resting easy with Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Ms. Maria Fay Duffer is survived by; Brother, Michael Duffer and wife, Kathy; and Sister, Cindy Driver. A host of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Ms. Maria Fay Duffer were conducted on Sunday, April 16, 2023, from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Brother Tony Day officiating.
