Wilma Shrum

Wilma Andrews Shrum, age 85 of the Cold Springs Community in Macon County passed away Tuesday morning, April 25, 2023 at Macon Community Hospital in Lafayette, TN. Funeral Services for Wilma Andrews Shrum were conducted Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Dean Dyer officiating. Interment followed in the Macon County Memorial Gardens. Anthony Shrum, Alex Shrum, Randy Robinson, Jimmy Andrews, Chad Swindle, Teddy Brawner served as pallbearers.

Wilma Andrews Shrum was born June 11, 1937 in Macon County, TN, the daughter born to the late Willie & Ader Simmons Andrews, and departed this life April 25, 2023 at the age of 85 years, 10 months, & 14 days.

She married the love of her life, Willard Shrum
on March 21, 1957. They got to share 66 wonderful years together. In addition
to her parents, she was also preceded in death by sister, Opal Robinson and
brother, Lee Andrews. Wilma was an assembly worker at Carter’s Automotive
for 21 years and in her younger years she worked at Dollar General & Form fi t
Rogers. Wilma was a member of Maple Grove Missionary Baptist Church #2.

Survivors include: Husband, Willard Shrum, Sons & Daughters-in-law, Anthony & Rhonda Shrum, Alex & Vickie Shrum, Granddaughters, Reagan Shrum all of Lafayette, Rachel Shrum of Jefferson City, and a host of nieces and nephews.
