Annie Lawson

Annie May Bunch Lawson was born into this world on November 1, 1938, in Davidson County, Tennessee, to the late James Elvis Bunch and Nancy Jane Wilson Bunch. She departed this life on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at the age of eighty-four years, seven months, and thirteen days.

Annie married Wayne Lawson in 1961, and they were blessed with one son. Along with her parents and husband, Annie was also preceded in death by her Step-son, Mike Drake; Brothers, James Bunch, Ray Bunch, and Herbert Bunch; and Sisters, Evelyn Ellithorpe and Rose Mary Fuell.

Annie was of the Baptist Belief and was employed at U.S. Hospitality Company in Nashville. She enjoyed spending time at the beach and always loved spending time with her family. Annie will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Ms. Annie Lawson is survived by; Son, Barry Lawson; Step-daughter-in-law,
Beverly Drake; Grandson, Russell Lawson and wife, Mariah; Great-Grandsons, Russell Lawson, Jr.
Asher Lawson; Step-Granddaughter, Brittney Drake; and Sister, Ruby Whitt. A host of nieces and nephews also survive.

A Memorial Service for Ms. Annie May Lawson was conducted on Saturday, July 8, 2023, from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Brother Tony Day and Brother Donnie Likens officiating.
