Mark Jenkins
Mark Anthony Jenkins, age 61 of the Willette Community in Macon County, TN passed away suddenly Wednesday evening, August 2, 2023 at the Macon Community Hospital ER in Lafayette, TN.
Funeral Services for Mark Anthony Jenkins were conducted Sunday afternoon, August 6, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Jack Honeycutt & Hugh Wayne Clark officiating. Interment followed in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park. Bobby Thomas, Isaiah Jenkins, Josh Smith, Paul Jones, Jackie Rich, & Terry Lankford served as pallbearers.
Mark Anthony Jenkins was born May 7, 1962 in Macon County, Tennessee, one of four siblings born to Barbara Tuck Jenkins Spivey of the Russell Hill Community & the late Jack Price Jenkins. On May 25, 1984, he married the love of his life, Tina Clark Jenkins, who survives. They shared over 39 wonderful years together. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by brother-in-law, Tim Smith.
Mark was a farmer, in the graduating class of 1980 at Red Boiling Springs High School, and was a member of the Willette Church of Christ. He had a special love for his family. He never missed any of his grandchildren’s events or in anything they did.
Survivors besides his wife, Tina & mother, Barbara include: sons and daughters-in-law, Nathan and Kayla Jenkins, Tyson and Erica Jenkins all of the Williette Community; daughter and Son-in-law, Katelyn and Brandon Meador of Lafayette; 8 grandchildren, Jaxie, Henry, Keira, Corbin and Andi Jenkins, Maylee, Kayslee and Laiklee Meador, step-father, Larry Spivey, brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Shawanna Jenkins, Barry and Tina Jenkins, Larry and Shelbye Jenkins all of the Russell Hill Community; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harold and Catherine Clark of Lafayette; sister-in-law Tonya Smith of the Union Camp Community; nieces & nephews, Janet and husband Chris Strode, Heather and husband Caleb Hesson, Isaiah Jenkins, Kelsey and husband Dalton Goolsby, Josh and wife Vanessa Smith as well as many other friends and relatives.
