Woodard Hired as New RBS Police Chief

It was announced on Monday afternoon, August 21, 2023, that the Red Boiling Springs Police Department has hired Joseph Woodard to fill the position of Chief of Police. 

Woodard is a former detective K-9 handler at the Macon County Sheriff’s Department, who began his career in law enforcement with the Sheriff’s Department in 2013, also working part-time as a police officer for Volunteer State Community College.

Joseph Woodard is married to Haley Woodard and they have two children.
