Bulldogs lose to Midway

The Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs went into last Friday night’s game against Midway looking to get their second win.

Midway scored three first half touchdowns and a sixteen point lead and the same score at the break. The Bulldogs had a lot of trouble in the first half scoring and we all know that turnovers will kill you in football.

There is a reason why we have not given out the final score and that is the turnover problems for the Bulldogs. Red Boiling Springs committed eight turnovers, three were interceptions and the rest fumbles.

The lone Bulldog touchdown came on a 32 yard scamper around right end. Bulldog Houston Taylor scored the touchdown. Final score was Midway 19 RBS 6.

Next week Red Boiling Springs will travel to Byrdstown to face region opponent Pickett County.
