MCHS Soccer competes in Smokey Mtn Cup

The Macon County High Tigerette soccer team recently competed in the Smokey Mountain Cup in East Tennessee.

They got their first victory over Morristown East on Friday Aug 25th by a score of 5-0. Goals by Bree Wheet, Chloe Blankenship, Vanessa Kirby, and Jessica Romero (2) propelled Macon.

The Tigerettes would face William Blount on Saturday Aug 26th. Macon would come away with another shut-out and win 3-0. Goals were scored by Ashley Romero and Jessica Romero (2).

Their last game was against Lexington. Jessica Romero scored twice, Ashley Romero three times, with one more from Vanessa Kirby to give the Tigerettes a 6-0 victory. The three victories put Macon atop the Mount Kephart five team division.

Macon County is now 6-1 on the season.
