MeMaw Hosse
MeMaw Coleman Hosse was born into this world on October 8, 1948, in Davidson County, Tennessee, to the late Charles Coleman and Flora Finch Coleman. She was called to her Heavenly Home on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at the age of seventy-four years, eleven months, and fifteen days.
MeMaw married Charles Williams Hosse on December 27, 1961, and they were blessed with forty-six years together before his passing in 2007. Along with her dear husband and parents, MeMaw was also preceded in death by her Granddaughter, Amanda White. She was saved by The Lords Sweet Grace and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Madison, Tennessee. MeMaw was self-employed-painting and hanging wallpaper, but she was most famous for opening MeMaw’s Grocery. Her presence will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all that loved her!
MeMaw Hosse is survived by; Son, Charles Samuel Hosse and wife, Tina; Daughters, Tonya Barber and husband, Randy, Charlene White and husband, Troy, Samantha Hosse Davis and husband, Brad; and Sister, Margaret Perrin and husband, Billy Ray. Eight Grandchildren and Eight Great-Grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services for MeMaw Hosse were conducted on Monday, September 25, 2023, from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Zack White and Brother Josh Higgins offi ciating. Interment followed in The Galen Cemetery. Brad Davis and MeMaw’s grandsons served as pallbearers.
