Ralph Gregory

Ralph Galen Gregory, age 85 of Lafayette, TN passed away Monday morning, October 2, 2023 at his residence.

Funeral Services were conducted Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Lonnie Meador and Elder Dewayne Gregory officiating. Interment followed in the Macon County Memorial Gardens with full military honors by the Veterans Honor Guard. Ott Gregory, Robbie Gregory, Bobby Ballou, Jimmy Wilburn, Scottie Wilburn, & Tony White served as honorary pallbearers. Ivan Davis, Kristian Prock, Mark Roberts, Conner Pittenger, Kelvin Gregory, Jeff Gregory served as pallbearers.

Ralph Galen Gregory was born March 10, 1938 in Lafayette, TN, born to the late Gena & Lillie Mathis Gregory and departed this life October 2, 2023 at the age of 85 years, 6 months, and 25 days. He married the love of his life, Betty Prock Gregory in 1965. They shared 58 wonderful years together.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by son, Jason Gale Gregory, brothers, Truman, Glen, Gordon, & Lillard Gregory, sisters, Thelma Porter & Juanita Jones. Ralph was a Veteran of the Army. He was a deacon and member of Old Bottom Missionary Baptist Church. Ralph retired from working as the Old Domino Truck Line Dispatcher.

Survivors include: wife, Betty Prock Gregory; son, Nathen Gregory both of Lafayette; daughter & son-in-law, Melanie & Tony King; granddaughter, Hannah Pittenger & husband, Conner all of Gallatin.
