TBI Investigating Death of 20-Month-Old

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is investigating the death of a 20-month-old boy in Westmoreland.

According to Macon County Sheriff Joey Wilburn, a call came into the sheriff’s department around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 4, reporting an unresponsive child. 

Once officers arrived on the scene at 10942 Hwy 52 West, they contacted the district attorney and requested assistance from the TBI. 

The boy has been identified as Liam Wade Saddler. 

The TBI’s investigation remains active and ongoing. The Macon County Chronicle will be reporting on any updates as they become available.
