Jane Brockette

Jane Hoskins Brockette, age 87 of Lafayette, TN passed away Saturday evening, October 14, 2023 at her residence.

Graveside Services & Interment for Jane Hoskins Brockette were conducted Tuesday morning, October 17, 2023 at 11:00 am from the Pleasant Hill General Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Pete Freeman officiating. Dillon Hackett, Timothy Hackett, Mike Hackett, Hank Meador, Keith Birdsey, & Randy East served as pallbearers.

Jane Hoskins Brockette was born April 12, 1936 in Lafayette, TN, born to the late Genie & Hallie Mae Walrond Hoskins and departed this life October 14, 2023 at the age of 87 years, 6 months, and 2 days. She married the love of her life, Phillip Brockette on December 18, 1954. They shared 68 wonderful years together. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by brother, Jimmy Hoskins, sister, Peggy Birdsey, & brother-in-law, Lee Birdsey. Jane was a seamstress & floor Lady at the former Formfit Rogers, and a receptionist for Dr. Brooks & Dr. Copas.

Survivors include: husband, Phillip Brockette; daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis & Mike Hackett; grandson, Timothy & wife, Laura Hackett; greatgrandchildren, Ashley & Dillon Hackett all of Lafayette; sister-in-law, Anita Hoskins as well as several nieces, nephews, & cousins.
