Carl Boyd

Carl Emmett Boyd, age 84 of Lafayette, TN passed away on, October 25, 2023 at Macon Community Hospital in Lafayette. Funeral Services were conducted Saturday afternoon, October 28, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Brother Brian Morgan officiating.

Carl Emmett Boyd was born September 2, 1939 in Mt. Vernon, OH born to the late Emmett & Carrie Crawford Boyd and departed this life October 25, 2023 at the age of 84 years, 1 months, and 23days.

He married the love of his life, Amelia Wolford Boyd in June of 1959, she preceded him in death on December 21, 2019. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by daughters, Joyce Rohrbaugh & Carol Boyd. Carl worked at John Deere for 34 years and he retired from there and then he was self-employed for many years after that.

Survivors include: Daughters, Carla Miller & husband, William of Athens, Gail Johnson & husband, Jeffery of Murfreesboro, Jody Boyd & Joey, & Lisa Nickerson, Sisters, Jaunita Woods, Irene Boyd all of Lafayette, Brother, Larry Boyd of Ohio, 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren & 4 great-great grandchildren.
