RBS Woman Charged After Providing False Alibi

Amber Henderson

By Jessie Williams

A Red Boiling Springs woman is accused of providing a false alibi to law enforcement in order to help a man avoid arrest.

According to the affidavit of complaint, 32-year-old Amber Elizabeth Henderson had knowledge that Ron Kendrick, also of Red Boiling Springs, had broken into Christine’s Kitchen and stolen a safe from the business.

The report states that Henderson rented, and occupied, the hotel room in Gallatin, where the contents of the safe were photographed.

She provided law enforcement with an alibi for Mr. Kendrick that was proven to be false, therefore aiding him in his arrest and prosecution.

Chronicle readers may recall the story regarding Kendrick’s arrest in our February 6, 2024 issue, in which he with charged with burglary, theft of property over $2,500 and vandalism for allegedly entering Christine’s Kitchen through a rear door and removing a safe from inside the business that contained cash, jewelry and documents.

Miss Henderson was charged with Accessory After the Fact on February 13, 2024. Her bond was set at $15,000, and she is scheduled to appear in general sessions court on March 6, 2024.
