Gobbling for Vets

A group of local turkey hunters conducted the 3rd Macon County Gobble for Vets turkey hunt this past weekend. Nine veteran hunters were taken by local guides on a hunt on the opening weekend of the 2024 Tennessee turkey season. Not a lot of hunters would take the time to guide someone else on opening day, but these locals did just that and they deserve a great big ‘thank you.’
