Child Pornography Found on Man’s Cell Phone

A Macon County man was arrested last week after child pornography was extracted from his cell phone by Secret Service agents.

Events leading up to the arrest began on Friday. April 19, when a sex offender compliance check was performed at a Maple Lane residence in Westmoreland.

Living at the residence were 54-year-old Floyd Price and his brother. 

During the compliance check, Price’s brother was found to be in possession of child pornography, and a search warrant was issued for every electronic in the residence that his brother may have access to.

Price’s cell phone was seized for evidence, since he resides with his brother, and taken to secret service agents in Nashville to be extracted.

During the extraction three pornographic photos involving children were discovered on Price’s phone.

He was arrested by Macon County law enforcement on May 16. 2024 and charged with three counts of sexual exploitation of children/possession of child pornography.

Price’s bond was set at $120,000, and he is scheduled to appear in general sessions court on May 29, 2024.
